Sonni Jefferson — Matron of Honor

Sonni and CeeCee have been best friends since their freshman year of high school, where they first bonded over advanced classes, shared experiences, and endless laughter. Over the years, that friendship blossomed into a sisterhood—one that was solidified even further in college when they became sorority sisters. From sleep overs and road trips to heartbreaks and healing, they’ve been through it all together. In 2017, CeeCee had the honor of standing by Sonni’s side as a bridesmaid in her wedding—an experience that makes this full-circle moment even more meaningful.

Now, as Matron of Honor, Sonni brings not just a lifetime of cherished memories, but also her unwavering support, calming presence, and joyful spirit. Her warmth and wisdom are unmatched, and her friendship has been a constant source of strength through every season of CeeCee’s life. There’s no one more perfect to help lead her through this next beautiful chapter.

Mahagony Ridges - Bridesmaid

Mahagony, known affectionately to the bride as “Megee,” is CeeCee’s glamorous cousin and an unforgettable part of the bridal party. Family by birth and friends by choice, their bond has only deepened in adulthood. They have shared countless memories over the years, including a last-minute weekend in Vegas, a girls' trip to Disney's Epcot, and a fun-filled visit to San Diego. Mahagony has a taste for the finer things in life and always brings a touch of elegance and flair wherever she goes. Yet she remains down-to-earth, funny, and instantly approachable. Her infectious laugh is truly undefeated, lighting up every room she enters. A talented makeup artist with an eye for beauty, Mahagony embodies both sophistication and warmth. More than cousins, she and CeeCee share a connection built on love, trust, and unwavering support. CeeCee is overjoyed to have her cousin’s elevated style, humor, and radiant spirit by her side for the celebration.

Tierra McCottrell — Bridesmaid

Tierra and CeeCee met in 2017 while working as travel nurses at Kaiser Permanente. She proudly holds the title of CeeCee’s very first San Diego friend—and the longest-standing one. Over the years, their bond has grown into a deep, sister-like connection. They may bicker like siblings, but their love and loyalty to one another run even deeper. Tierra recently welcomed her first child, a beautiful baby girl named Sloane, and watching Tierra step into motherhood has only deepened CeeCee’s admiration for her. The two share a deep love for God, a perfectly dry sense of humor, and a mutual appreciation for both wit and wardrobe. When it comes to style, Tierra’s fashion sense is second to none. Tierra is CeeCee’s “ride or die,” and there’s no version of this special day without her in it.

Michelle Ruben —Bridesmaid

Michelle and CeeCee first met in 2017 while working together at Kaiser Permanente, and their friendship quickly blossomed. With their matching energies and shared love for adventure, they’ve created countless cherished memories. One of their most iconic adventures was ringing in CeeCee’s birthday at a Beyoncé concert in Chicago in 2023—a night that perfectly captured their love of music, celebration, and each other’s company. But beyond the fun, their connection runs deep. CeeCee proudly calls herself the “second mom” to Michelle’s two incredible children, Tatum and Madden—a title she cherishes deeply. In fact, she was right there in the delivery room when Madden was born, a moment that solidified just how inseparable their bond truly is. Having Michelle stand by her side on her wedding day is not just an honor—it’s a full-circle moment in a friendship that continues to grow, evolve, and fill both of their lives with so much love.

Groomsmen

Fernando “Nando” Urego — Best Man

Anthony met his best man, Fernando, back in 2012, and life hasn’t been the same since. From the very start, Fernando took Anthony under his wing like a true big brother—part mentor, part partner-in-crime. He helped pull Anthony out of his shell, introducing him not only to legendary road trips to Tallahassee and wild weekends at FSU, but also to the value of guidance, loyalty, and having someone who always has your back (even at 3 AM Taco Bell stops). Over the years, Fernando has been a constant source of wisdom, laughter, and brotherly advice. Anthony had the privilege of celebrating Fernando’s marriage to his amazing wife, Alex, in 2024—and now, he’s honored to have Fernando standing beside him as he begins his own journey into married life.

Akeem James — Groomsman

Akeem, the groom’s brother, was also his very first best friend. Growing up side by side, they shared countless memories—some hilarious, some chaotic, all unforgettable. Despite being the younger one, there were many times when Akeem felt like the big brother, charging fearlessly into life while Anthony looked on with a mix of admiration and “should we really be doing this?” Over the years, Anthony often turned to Akeem for advice, knowing he could always count on his grounded perspective and loyal heart. After spending years apart, the two reunited in San Diego in 2016, picking up right where they left off—this time as grown men navigating life, work, and the occasional brotherly debate under the same roof. Anthony deeply admires Akeem’s free spirit and unwavering dedication to family, traits that shine through in his own marriage to the incredible Anna. In fact, in many ways, this wedding is inspired by theirs—Tobago vibes and all. Though their personalities may differ, Akeem and Anthony balance each other perfectly, like only brothers can.

Dylan Ramnarine — Groomsman

Anthony met Dylan when he was just five years old—and even back then, there was something special about him. Over the years, Anthony had the privilege of watching Dylan grow from a bright, curious kid into a man he genuinely admires and looks up to, despite being the older brother. Dylan is the definition of a stand-up individual—humble, grounded, and full of quiet strength. He’s a shining example of what it looks like to be raised right, with a solid village behind him and a family dynamic that Anthony hopes to one day replicate in his own home. Recently, Dylan and his amazing sister Sierra made the trip out to California for the Camp Flog Gnaw festival, and that visit only confirmed what Anthony always knew—that the little human he watched grow up has become a truly dope adult (both of them have, honestly). Anthony sees a bright, beautiful future ahead for Dylan and feels deeply grateful to witness the journey unfold.

Kent “P” Peralta — Groomsman

Before Anthony officially met Kent, Kent already hated him—from a distance. After spotting a social media post of Anthony hanging out with one of his close friends, Kent wasn’t exactly eager to welcome someone new into the already tight-knit circle. But all that changed the moment they met in person. From day one, Kent’s energy, drive, and sense of brotherhood made a lasting impression. Throughout Anthony’s Navy journey and beyond, Kent has been a true pioneer—always the first to find resources, opportunities, and new paths forward, then turning around to make sure his brothers have access too. “If I’m eating, we all eating,” is more than just a phrase to Kent—it’s a code he lives by. Whether it’s hitting the gym hard or making power moves financially, Kent brings dedication, loyalty, and unshakable family values to everything he does. He’s the kind of man others aspire to be, and Anthony is proud to call him a brother and honored to have him as a groomsman.
