BUCCOO REEF & NYLON POOL TOURS

A visit to Tobago wouldn’t be complete without experiencing the famous Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool!


Climb aboard a glass-bottom boat and marvel at the vibrant marine life of the Caribbean Sea right beneath your feet. You’ll glide past colorful coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, and may even spot manta rays or sea turtles along the way.


Your local tour guide will share fascinating facts about the reef’s history and point out marine species as you cruise through the protected waters. Many tours also include a brief snorkeling stop, offering an up-close view of Tobago’s underwater beauty.


Next, you’ll visit the iconic Nylon Pool — a natural, crystal-clear sandbar in the middle of the sea. Legend has it that a dip in these shallow turquoise waters is the “fountain of youth,” said to leave you looking years younger!

FORT KING GEORGE & THE TOBAGO MUSEUM

If you’d like to learn more about the island’s rich and complex history, be sure to visit Fort King George and the Tobago Museum in Scarborough. Over the centuries, Tobago was fiercely contested by the English, French, and Dutch, changing hands an incredible 30 times before ultimately becoming part of the British Empire.


Perched on a scenic hilltop overlooking the coast, Fort King George offers stunning views along with well-preserved colonial architecture and cannons that tell the story of Tobago’s past. The Tobago Museum, located within the fort’s barracks, houses fascinating exhibits on the island’s archaeology, culture, and military heritage.
